Speculation has been rampant ever since Street Outlaws’ Kye Kelley parted ways with his longtime partner and girlfriend, Lizzy Musi. The abrupt conclusion of their six-year relationship has given rise to numerous rumors. However, the focus should now shift to Kye Kelley’s current romantic status. Kye Kelley and drag racer Lizzy Musi’s relationship began shortly after his divorce was finalized. They have been a couple since 2017 and got engaged in July 2021 when Kye proposed at a racing event. Their wedding was scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2022. However, their plans were disrupted when Lizzy Musi was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer, which drastically changed the course of her life.

Despite their long-standing connection, recent events have sadly resulted in a heart-wrenching separation: Kye Kelley and Lizzy Musi have parted ways.

“Alright, since Kye clarified matters in his comments, I feel the need to set the record straight myself, as there has been a lot of speculation about this,” Musi wrote in her Facebook post back in July. “The exact words that I texted to Kye in Kentucky, where he preferred not to have face-to-face conversations, were ‘I don’t think I can do this anymore.’ This statement arose from Kye’s absence during the most challenging period of my life, primarily due to his busy racing commitments (I understand that’s his livelihood). He attended only one appointment at MD ANDERSON and just one chemotherapy session. He rarely called or texted to check on me. I do credit him for helping me get in there, and I acknowledge that when it’s due. However, feeling alone, especially when someone makes you feel even lonelier, is an incredibly painful experience.

Kye mentioned that he was tired of me treating him poorly and ‘like dog shit’ all these years. (I wish he had ended things earlier if I had made him that miserable). It’s disheartening to realize that I made someone feel that bad, and that was his primary reason for not wanting to work on our relationship.

So I asked Kye if we were finished, requesting a simple yes or no.

His only response was, ‘I agree with your decision,’ and we left it at that. I attempted to engage Kye in conversation to mend things, but he declined and expressed that he ‘just wanted to be friends.’ Unfortunately, I can’t simply switch off my feelings when I still have love for him.”

Adding another layer of complexity to Lizzy Musi’s already challenging situation, she has been courageously battling breast cancer. Her resilience in the face of this disease has earned her immense admiration from fans, who have rallied behind her with unwavering support during her treatment.
