The Tragic Life Of Big Chief – Shocking Reason He Leave “Street Outlaws”?

When the topic of ‘Street Outlaws’ arises, it’s common for our thoughts to gravitate towards high-speed drag races, often overshadowing more subtle aspects such as the personal lives of the show’s cast members. Among these personal aspects, the marital life of one of the show’s prominent stars, Justin Shearer, tends to be neglected by many. Justin Shearer, the American race car driver known by his alias Big Chief, has risen to significant fame as a streetcar racer within the United States. His prominence is a result of his unwavering commitment and hard work towards his passion.

Observers have taken note that Big Chief ceased to make appearances in the show’s later seasons, even as the 405 team continued to participate. With the emergence of new seasons like ‘No Prep Kings’ and ‘America’s List’, Big Chief’s absence persisted, leading to the realization that he had permanently departed from the show. The question that naturally arises is: What prompted this departure?

Hailing from Kentucky, USA, Justin Shearer was born in Louisville, the largest city nestled along the Ohio River, on December 9, 1980. He was born into a situation where his mother, a hardworking widow raising two boys, took on the responsibility of nurturing them after the early passing of their father during Justin’s childhood. Refraining from remarriage, she single-handedly raised Justin and his brother. Originating from a town renowned for its horse racing legacy, Justin’s affinity for streetcar racing emerged as a surprising departure.

At the age of twelve, Justin and his family relocated to Oklahoma City, a well-known hub for street car racing. It was within this environment that his burgeoning interest eventually transformed into a passionate pursuit, evolving into a lifelong vocation.

Fueled by his fervor for car racing, Justin actively engaged in attending numerous street racing events within his locality. While on a quest to attain his dream car, he found employment at a gas station and briefly at Midwest Street Cars Automotive, an establishment he would later co-own. Through his varied occupational endeavors, he diligently amassed the funds needed to acquire a 1972 Pontiac LeMans, affectionately christened “The Crow.”

Displaying his prowess in his chosen field, Justin Shearer earned the moniker ‘Big Chief’ due to his consistent success in car racing. This recognition subsequently drew the attention of the Discovery Channel, ultimately inspiring the creation of the network’s show, “Street Outlaws.” Debuting in 2013, this 41-minute documentary series delves into the world of the swiftest and most skilled street racers, unveiling both their on-screen prowess and the intriguing stories behind the scenes.

Although he has been absent from Team 405 for some time now, it was during the latest season of “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings” that numerous fans first took notice of Big Chief’s absence.

The question that naturally arises is: Why did Big Chief decide to part ways with ‘Street Outlaws’?

In March 2022, Big Chief uploaded a video on his YouTube channel in which he openly discussed the reasons behind his departure from the show. While addressing the circulating rumors, he candidly revealed that his ultimate decision to leave “Street Outlaws” stemmed from a disagreement with the show’s production. In his video, he expressed his preference for the show to maintain its authentic street racing essence, focusing primarily on racing itself. He explained that he felt uneasy taking on the role of a race organizer if he had to enforce rules that he believed weren’t in the best interest of the racing community. Furthermore, he hinted at his discomfort with the production’s tendency to sensationalize conflicts between him and other cast members.

Little is disclosed about Big Chief’s relationships prior to his well-known public connection. At present, he stands as a divorced individual. On September 29, 2006, Justin entered into marriage with his wife, the lovely Allicia Shearer. The couple’s initial encounter occurred when Justin was just 18 years old, unfolding at a full-service gas station. Their union also brought forth two sons, named Corbin and Covil Shearer. Despite their years of contentment, their journey together came to an end in 2017, culminating in their separation. Speculation points towards Justin’s alleged involvement with Jackie Braasch as a potential catalyst for the divorce.

Their joint appearance on the reality TV show “Street Outlaws” began in early 2017. While Jackie faced accusations of contributing to the dissolution of Justin’s marriage, it wasn’t until 2018 that the couple openly acknowledged their relationship. This revelation coincided with Big Chief’s announcement of his ongoing divorce proceedings.

Have you ever pondered about Big Chief’s financial status as of 2023? According to reliable sources, it’s been approximated that Big Chief’s accumulated wealth has surpassed $10 million, although his current income remains undisclosed. His fortune has been primarily amassed through his endeavors as a street racer and an expert in race cars. Notably, a significant portion of his earnings could be attributed to his extensive tenure as the host of “Street Outlaws.”

What is Big Chief up to these days?

Big Chief has maintained his involvement in certain racing events, including the daily driver event, RC car racing, and his victory in a Cash Days RC event. Additionally, he’s directing his attention towards his YouTube channel, Midwest Street Cars, where he’s dedicated to his latest car project. Observing his girlfriend Jackie’s Instagram page, it seems that the couple has returned home.
